Words of Life May-August 2024Words of Life is a daily Bible reading devotional published by The Salvation Army.

Each issue features Salvation Army writers from around the world.

The emphasis in the latest edition is on grace being lived out in the ‘rough and tumble’ of life and as seen in our relationships with other people. A three-week study of the Epistle to the Romans reflects on God's grace. 

Also in this edition, Commissioner Ted Horwood, International Secretary for Programme Resources, draws on his experience of serving in seven different countries in a short series for Pentecost. Major Barbara Sampson concludes her refreshing focus on the names of God, while most of the weekend writings are by Major Peter Mylechreest whose excerpts from Lite Bites reflect how God, through Christ, is with us in everything we experience and enjoy.
